Acanthus LW was commissioned by Weston Homes Plc for the production information of a new residential development of 425 apartments in Basildon, Essex.

Cherrydown East is located close to the town centre and main line train station and forms part of a series of developments that aim to improve the links from the town centre to adjacent residential areas.

The objective of the development was to create a new residential area set within and connected by a series of private, semi private and semi public external spaces.

The design of the public realm includes a series of high quality terraces and courtyards at podium level and a garden square at ground level.
