Robert Hutson Architects is a practice based in mid Essex. Established in 1984 and initially gaining recognition with the design of high quality housing, the portfolio of commissions and completed works now cover the whole spectrum of architecture, design and project management.

The common thread that ties all of this work together is an approach that impresses the importance of fully understanding the client's needs and translating those into appropriate and achievable designs and solutions. In that cause the practice has assembled an array of skills and talents which can be applied on behalf of the client to the successful commissioning, design, construction and use of all building types.

The practice recognises the importance of communication both to clients and the wider context, in the first instance this focus was expressed by a reputation for beautiful presentation drawings regularly selected for the summer exhibition at the Royal Academy. More recently this reputation has been broadened by the application of state of the art computer systems to the description and demonstration of our work.
